Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities

  • responsible for the safe and cost effective operation and maintenance, in conjunction with the Maintenance Advisor. of the facility's production systems associated equipment and utilities with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, and the HSEQ Management System.
  • To fulfil the risk management requirements by ensuring all risks in production system and associate utilities operation and maintenance are identified and procedures are established and implemented.
  • To manage the human resources available to the production group so as to maintain a flexible and efficient work culture.
  • Monitor the planned maintenance system to ensure compliance and to report any non-compliance.
  • In conjunction with other departmental heads and OMMA, assist in the management of the facility on board re budget, budget preparation, cost control and authorize expenditure.


Essential Skills & Experience


  • An Engineering or related degree would be ideal but not compulsory.
  • At least 10 years' experience (Operations/Production departments) Offshore or Refinery, minimum 5 years in a Supervisory position. Offshore experience in a senior production role on a fixed or floating facility is highly desirable for this role
  • shall have knowledge of tanker operations including crude oil washing, inert gas systems and marine safety systems would also be an advantage.
  • shall have previous experience working within the envelope of Safety Management Systems, inclusive of Permit to Work, Isolations, and operational procedures.
  • Shall be familiar with subsea production systems.
  • Incumbent is required to be working in Singapore shipyard during the pre-ops phase and thereafter to sail to Nigeria.
  • Must be available for immediate mobilisation for short term contract
